Priest or Mage for Cataclysm

That is the question i am asking myself at the moment. There is also a druid, but ill leave that out for this exciting search.

Heres what Sotanaht thought:

Mage most likely. They already have one of the highest skill caps in PvP. In cata, they are going to have Bloodlust and yet another snare (wall of fog).

Shadow priests have their place, they are probably pretty balanced, but there really isn’t anything special about them in PvP. Disc priests on the other hand…

Edit: AND their new bloodlust comes with a personal move speed boost, useable while sated.

So tipping in the mage scale at the moment. My only issue is that my mage is 42 and my priest is already 80. So do i just level the 5 extra on the priest or go for the extra 43. Hmm Sounds like a lot when you put it that way.

Then there is always the inspirational Shadow Word Dance movie, always made me feel like playing the shadow priest.

Firo Said: Mage. im having so much fun on my mage on PTR it is ridiculous, Where as my pally, who i have had for 5 years, May for the first time be put on the back burner, as i dont like the changes.

Another Mage Vote.

PTR made me nervous about mages, they are ridiculous right now being able to kill some1 in a deep freeze with ice lance and i know that wont last long. Also, i have been leaning towards mage anyways.

lol@priest leveling joke, i can remember trying to level a priest several times before WotLK and it never happened.

To level or priest or mage i just dont know. May as well just level the noob now tho, cos good luck trying to compete with the 100 million people all doing the same quests at the moment.

Woo server just logged on, well im off.
