So the time has come to get a new IPod touch, but which one should i choose? Well.. Its quite a hard choice that comes before us with the old gen vs the new gen Ipod Nano. On the face of it, you would go Gen 6 = smaller + touch screen = better. However, is that actually true?

Lets have a quick look at the specs of these two ipods.

Now there are really a lot of pros for Generation 5 here really when you look at it, so you have to decide. Gen 5 – Games,Video,Calendar,Notes,Click Wheel Vs Gen 6 – Tiny,Touch,Clip.

I’m still on the fence really, the battery life is claimed to be the same on both models. 24 hours. Obviously having the screen on will dramatically effect the battery life of both units, im assuming it would effect the Generation 6 one slightly more as its a touch screen but i have no proof of this. Which one to buy, its a hard choice, but im swaying more towards the Generation 5 at the moment as it just has more stuff, even if im not going to use all of the features it has, still better to have them there.

I found these reviews quite helpful when trying to pick out an iPod, Still hard to choose!
