Windows 7 – windows 7 activation error 0×80072+messenger error

Found this question floating about the net, thought i might be able to shine some light on it:

I am having problems with windows 7 activation and windows live messenger.. i was having problems with windows live messenger but uninstalling and re-installing didn’t help so i formatted my pc with windows 7.. now i am having problems with my windows 7 activation ( it gives error code 0x80072EE2) and also i am unable to log into my widows live messenger or facebook… please help me…

NOTE:I HAVE DONE SEVERAL FORMATS DUE TO BOTH ACTIVATION ERROR AND WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER ERRORS BUT IT DIDN’T HELP AT ALL, I HAVE EVEN DONE SEVERAL SCANS FOR VIRUS BUT THAT DIDN’T HELP EITHER, MY MESSENGER SHOWS THAT I AM NOT CONNECTED TO .NET SERVICE.. AND I AM ABLE TO BROWS THE INTERNET EXCEPT SEVERAL SITES

The Microsoft Site advises:
Important In most cases, these errors are caused by temporary issues caused by very slight interruptions in communications between the computer to be updated and the update to be downloaded. These issues are generally self-healing. So, before you try the troubleshooting methods in this article, try exiting the Windows Update site, waiting 10 to 15 minutes and start Windows Update again, and check for updates. You can also let Windows Automatic Update install the updates on its usual 24-hour cycle.

Here is the official Link to the MS Knowledge Base Article.

So basically, dont worry it will fix its self and is usually caused by the activation servers being unavailable or massively loaded, which would be the case most of the time i would think ;) .
