How stage timer makes 25k a month?

I was just going to start listing the videos that i watch here and some comments basically. 

I will see if this actually happens. Usually i take these notes on my Obsidian, and then forget that i actually make them. 

It's kinda good to keep notes on these for future use i think. 

Initially i thought this was just a clickbait title, which it might be.

So they basically created a timer app that specialises in one certain stage timer feature, grew and marketed it on reddit and now it makes 25k a month from recurring fees. 

He posted a link on a related sub reddit for the app and got some feed back on how to grow the product, and also adds the stagetimer io link on all the timers they share.

So then i found the video on starter story and how he managed to kinda hack reddit a bit and build an email list amazingly edited video here, and very engaging up until the part about joining the course anyway. 

Build an email list, Lock all your content behind a Login system, profit... ? Sounds easy, probably not that easy.
