History
Name proposed by M Pontifex through the Mangrove mountain Districts Community Group. Supported by Darkinjung Aboriginal Council Gosford Council Forests and NP&WS.
Description
a watercourse which rises at a point about 5.8 km W of Moat Trigonometrical Station and 4.2 km S by W of the Ironbark Road bridge over Ironbark Creek. It is 0.5 km in length and flows in a westerly direction into Bedlam Creek.
Origin
Wallaby Rock is a very big rock carving and a well-known local landmark. It is in the area from which the gully runs.
