History

Name proposed by Neville Davis of Parramatta Councils Parks Division.

Description

A reserve located on the corner of Kleins Road and Beamish Road at Northmead. It occupies part of Lot A of DP 20868 and DP 13906.

Origin

In 1959 the secretary of the playground committee wrote to Council stating that the committee was formed back in 1951 to develop a childrens playground on this land set aside by Willsford Homes Pty Ltd for this purpose. Since that time the reserve has been known by this name. (Parramatta Council letter dated 31 December 1997)

The counters() CSS function enables nested counters, returning a concatenated string representing the current values of the named counters, if there are any.
